In response to the spirit of the No. 1 and No. 2 documents of the Dongguan Municipal Government in 2025, on April 24, Chashan held the AI Plush Toy New Product Launch Conference and Plush Toy Industry Cluster Development Promotion Activity. At the event, the first batch of AI trendy toys in Chashan were released collectively, and the unveiling ceremony of the Chashan AI Technology Sharing Center was held at the same time. This event fully demonstrated the industrial advantages of Chashan’s plush toys, with plush toys as the carrier and AI technology as the medium, to discuss the new direction of the industry’s development.
In March this year, the Chashan Town Government, Chashan Toys and Baby Products Association, and Shenzhen Northke Ruison Technology Co., Ltd. signed the “AI + Plush Toy Industry Intelligent Cluster Strategic Cooperation Agreement”. Subsequently, many toy enterprises in Chashan took quick actions and launched the first batch of AI toy new products in only one month, demonstrating the “Chashan speed”. At the press conference, many enterprises’ AI toys such as “Haoqile” ‘s Little Bear Pinch Journey and “Wanle Fairy Tale” ‘s AI Intelligent Strawberry Transformed Duck made their appearances, demonstrating functions such as foreign language dialogue and voice-action interaction on site. This showed the positive exploration and achievements of Chashan’s plush toy enterprises in the field of “AI + toys”, and it was also an important step for Chashan’s government, enterprises and associations to jointly promote the upgrading of the toy industry.
The event site also had a toy industry exhibition area, where enterprises displayed various plush toys and AI toy products. In addition, as a famous Chinese food town, Chashan also set up a food exhibition area to highlight its “food and toy industry” characteristics.
Chashan is an important national gathering place for high-quality plush toy industry, with about 1,500 toy enterprises and more than 100,000 employees in upstream and downstream supporting industries. It has formed a complete industrial chain covering raw material supply, creative design, production and manufacturing, packaging and logistics, and brand marketing. Moreover, it has independently created series of brands such as Guochao Shanhaijing, Auspicious Zodiac, and Wanxiao’e, which are deeply loved by consumers at home and abroad, laying a solid foundation for the development of “AI + toys”.
To further promote the in-depth development of Chashan’s AI + plush toy industry intelligent cluster, the unveiling ceremony of the “Chashan AI Technology Sharing Center” was held at the press conference, and Wang Xin, president of Northke Ruison, was appointed as the development consultant of the industrial intelligent cluster. Subsequently, Northke Ruison and a number of Chashan toy enterprises completed the signing of “Chashan AI Technology Sharing Center Empowering the First Batch of AI Plush Toy Enterprises in Chashan”.
This year, the municipal government’s No. 1 document clarified the policy measures for the integrated development of “artificial intelligence + advanced manufacturing”. Chashan seized the opportunity, took the initiative to connect, introduced Shenzhen Northke Ruison Company, and built the Chashan AI Technology Sharing Center platform to provide all-round high-quality services such as technology research and development, talent training, and achievement transformation for plush toy enterprises, allowing enterprises to share the dividends of AI technology development. At the same time, the Chashan Town Government and Northke Ruison Company held the signing ceremony of “Dongguan Northke Ruijiang Technology Co., Ltd. Settling in Chashan” to help upgrade Chashan’s plush toy industry.
Facing the fluctuations in the international market, to help plush toy enterprises export to domestic sales, at the event site, Chashan Toys and Baby Products Association and JD Supermarket Baby Toys Business Department held the JD Plush Toy Export to Domestic Sales Procurement Signing Ceremony. Relying on JD Group’s “200 billion export to domestic sales support plan”, JD Supermarket Toys will work with Chashan Toys and Baby Products Association and related member enterprises to promote the export of plush industry belts to domestic sales and help industrial upgrading. At present, JD Supermarket has reached a 50 million yuan procurement order cooperation with Wanle Fairy Tale, and launched a 1 million jollybaby cloth book exclusive sales plan.
In the afternoon of the same day, Chashan Town also jointly held the “JD Empowering Dongguan Enterprises to Explore the New Blue Ocean of Domestic Consumption” activity with Dongguan Toys and Baby Products Association, Chashan Toys and Baby Products Association, and JD Group to provide enterprises with special services such as market transformation support and channel docking.
